Works on Paper

One of the museum's largest and most varied collections, our extraordinary European works on paper feature well-known artists and movements. Strengths include 16th- and 17th-century prints from the Netherlands, France, Germany, and Italy; prints engaging with social satire and critique from the 18th and 19th centuries; and prints by Cubist, Surrealist, and Expressionist artists in the early 20th century.
