Josiah Tyler, the Southern African holdings include traditional sculptures from South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Madagascar, and a strong representation of contemporary prints and photographs by artists including William Kentridge, Guy Tillim, Nomusa Makhubu, Gideon Mendel, Berni Searle, and Candice Breitz.
