We see a man standing in front of a window and a second figure, his reflection, behind him. The reflection hovers over the man with shadowed eyes. The man’s reflection would not be seen in the window this way by an observer looking through from the outside. Thus, the window serves not just as a view into the private space of the indoors but into the private space of the figure’s mind.

The title, Reflections, invites us to consider other perspectives: when flipped upside-down, the two faces appear to become the bottom of a third. From another point of view, the man and his menacing reflection are one and the same.
