He leaps blithely from drama / to comedy, to musical farce and back again with the facility / of a thespic gazelle. His role in "The Shining Hour," with / Joan Crawford, which preceded "Honolulu," was distinctly / dramatic and on the "heavy" side. In "Honolulu" his assignment / is pure farce. He is equally capable in either medium.
