Verso: Long and ardently did Ann Sheridan hope for star-dom. But besides hoping Annie also worked -- hard. The fates and Warner Bros. decided to do something nice for her. Result: Ann has just completed her first starring picture, most appropriately titled IT ALL CAME TRUE. The Texas-born girl has been given the best of everything in the way of support, direction and story for her initial effort. Humphrey Bogart, Jeffrey Lynn furnish the male interest; Louis Bromfield wrote the story specifically for Annie. The Brothers Warner want IT ALL CAME TRUE to mean what it says for their titian-haired star. Here is Ann, dressed to kill for her Gay Nineties number in the picture.
