Verso: VIENNESE CHARMER.. Luise Rainer, intriguing film discovery from Europe, whose latest role is that of O'lan, wife of Paul Muni in Irving G. Thalberg's "The Good Earth". Coming to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer from stage successes abroad, Miss Rainer made her film debut with William POwell in "Escapade", followed by her amazing performance as Anna Held in "The GReat Ziegfeld". In the adaptation of Pearl S. Buck's novel of China, in which she was directed by Sidney Franklin, she plays a Chinese farm wife in a poignant human story.
