Verso: Upper center, in graphite, "1239" and, stamped in purple ink "Please credit Ruth Harriet Louise Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Photographer" / Center, stamped in purple ink, partially covered, "N Crawford Oldwymn-Mayer", and, typed in black ink on tan paper, affixed, "...Joan Crawford, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer star, has gone in for the new type of sports togs which show high collars and longer hemlines. Her jersey costume of delft blue reveals these two lines and is finished with a smart scarf that is tied in a stock tie manner, and a matching beret."
