Obverse: Bust of Byron to the left, with beaded border and Greek letters for Byron; Reverse: A bay-tree uninjured by lightning bolts. Greek letters with legend: "Always Imperishable; inscribed, on in edge in Greek letters: dedication of F. Pickering and F. Forthington, made by A. J. Stothard, 1824. 1824, on Byron's death.
