Artist's signature in elongated vertical red toshidama cartouche: Toyokuni ga.; Publisher's seal in white vertical rectangle to right of center at bottom: Yamaguchi-ya Tobei; Combined censor and date seal: Goat year (1859), 4th month. The worn seal in the lower right corner reads Yokogawa [?], and may be a carver's seal. Title of book series at top right, series unidentified.
