Wooden box with leather handle. Four rubber feet. Two metal projections to attach resistance thermometer current to. Scale visible through glass window reads "25" to "1000" at 100 degree intervals. Below scale reads "CENTIGRADE/RESIS.OF LEADS 0.4 OHM NO. 518239./PAT. JUNE 1, 1909 JUNE 13, 1911 SEP 28, 1915." Brass plaque reads "EIMER & AMEND/EANDA/NEW YORK."
