Two Large de Saussure Mirrors

Two large brass concave mirrors. They are identical, both mounted on hardwood stands. Wooden stands are capped with wire holder which allows the mirrors to be adjusted as they pivot on two stems set at opposite edges of mirrors. The two devices are pictured in the Bly Heat and Sound Photograph. Both are pictured with a supporting device with two prongs that slip through holes at the tops of the wooden stands. One stand has a crack across the width of base.
