Fabric covered silver box. Top completely removable. Cord folds in back of bottom, 2 heads for reels but no reels in box. Controls: rewind, record/play, fast forward, and stop. Has a counter and a speed adjustinng dial. Dials for volume and tone. Label reads "L.Lab 65." Operating instructions on metal plaque in lid.
