Fernald (1871-1958) on the 1929 and 1930 MacMillan Expeditions to Baffin Island and Labrador [possibly a gift in return for the free dental work provided by Dr. Fernald]; to his son Robert Osborn Fernald (1914-2003, Class of 1936), Green Village, New Jersey; given to present collection, 1973.
