Ten steel cylinders suspended by string in wooden frame, mounted on wooden base with steel hammer. Base stamped "RUDOLPH KOENIG A PARIS." Cylinders stamped: "UT7/8192VS/RK," "UT8/16384VS/RK," "UT9/32768/RK," "UT10/35536VS/RK," "SOL7/12288VS/RK," "SOL8/24576VS/RK," "SOL9/49152VS/RK," "MI7/10240VS/RK," "MI8/20480VS/RK," "MI9/40960VS/RK." Note: VS stands for the French notation, "vibration simple." 2 VS = 1 Hertz.
