Electrical Tuning Fork

Electrical tuning fork. Fork is horizontal. In between tines is a rectangular block with two bolts on top and two rows of eight pieces of copper wire (each 1/8" high) projecting on either side of base of rectangle. Along side of the tuning fork and rectangle are three small black knobs each having a steel arm projecting from it which contacts with small steel cylinders arranged in an arc. Behind each of the black knobs are two steel projections whose tops can be unscrewed in order to attach the electric current. One large black knob at end, mounted on a wooden box. Fork stamped "C 256" on base.
Overall: 8 1/2 × 10 1/4 × 5 7/8 in. (21.6 × 26 × 14.9 cm)
